What you will do

As Head of Credit, you have overall responsibility for Scan Sweden's lending to our animal suppliers. You are responsible for ensuring that the credit policy is followed and developed, and you lead the Credit Team, which consists of two credit officers. The role reports to the Financial Director and you are part of the Livestock Purchasing Management Group.

You work with credit assessment, financial statement analysis, and handling of larger credit commitments, as well as monitoring credits, insolvency cases, debt collection, and credit security. The role also includes reporting to the credit committee and management, risk reporting, and the development of credit products and processes.

Furthermore, you act as a support to the business in credit and legal matters, participate in supplier visits, and train the organization within the credit area.

What you need to succeed and thrive

You have

• An academic education in economics, finance, or a similar field.
• Several years of experience in qualified credit work within banking, finance, or lending.
• Good experience in credit assessment, financial statement analysis, and risk management.
• Experience in leadership and working closely with the business.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Experience from agriculture or the food industry is considered an asset.

• Analytical and confident in making decisions even in complex situations.
• Structured and skilled at prioritizing and driving multiple processes simultaneously.
• Relationship-building and communicative with high integrity.
• Independent, business-minded, and engaged in developing both people and working methods.
